LGB Alliance
LGB Alliance is a UK-based charity, founded in 2019, that advocates for the rights and interests of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people. It was set up by long-standing gay-rights campaigners who felt that same-sex attraction — and the specific needs of LGB people — risked being sidelined in wider debates. The charity builds community through local groups and a helpline, campaigns on issues affecting same-sex attracted people, and defends freedom of speech and belief. It is especially active in protecting young people from what it regards as the premature medicalisation of gender non-conformity, arguing that many gender-questioning children would otherwise grow up to be gay, lesbian or bisexual.
