Spinifex Press is an independent feminist publishing house, founded in Australia in 1991. It is known for publishing award-winning, innovative and sometimes controversial books that mainstream publishers tend to avoid. Its list ranges across fiction and non-fiction and covers subjects such as radical feminism, Indigenous stories, the environment and climate change, disability and women's resistance worldwide. Spinifex is the English-language publisher of 'Rebel Girls', bringing the project's stories to readers in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and beyond.
